Daylight or night light for painting still lifes?

This is a question for fellow still life painters out there. Do you paint by daylight with artificial light? Do any of you paint at night using daylight bulbs? I paint during the day and cannot seem to paint at night even with a daylight bulb on the setup and on my palette and canvas. I would be interested to hear how people are working.

Your work is lovely. You have a terrific sense of color.

In answer to your question, I always paint using artificial light. Sadly it means I have to keep the studio dark but it allows me to control the light and, since I don't have the luxury of painting full time, paint whenever I want.
