Blue Pots

Copyrighted 2008 © by Linda Warner Constantino. 7"w by 5"h - oil on canvas Available for $100 plus shipping. email me if interested.

I enjoyed painting flowers at our local nursery but these giant exotic pots caught my attention. So I am not sure what to call this: a small painting of a large still life or a landscape. This was such a change because I just painted a small painting of small pottery. So much for scale!

I love big blue pots. They always catch my eye at the nursery. I have a bunch in my back yard and patio. I fill them with violet geraniums, bright pink verbena and petunias and sweet potato vine, with dracena spikes. Your painting is great, but makes me want more pots.

All of my favorite colors! Very nice. I was reading your list of favorite books. I've picked up Art & Fear again after 20 years! Ted Orland has a new book out now (The title is escaping me. Something about the view from the studio.) He gave me a copy but I haven't had a chance to read it yet.

Lovely work. I like your style!
