I am determined to paint some plein air landscapes this week. Here is the result of my first trip out. I was attracted to this site because of all the different greens. It was wonderful to be outside.There was a nice breeze.

Above is the view I was painting today. I have not painted outside in months so I was a little disorganized. I forgot my umbrella and had to seek shade. I normally stand but had to sit to get a good view because a branch was in the way. It was a bright but clear afternoon which is a real break here from the hot hazy weather we have been experiencing for weeks.
