Melon & Kiwi

Copyrighted © 2007 by Linda Warner Constantino. Oil on Linen Board 5"h by 7"w. This painting is available for $120 framed or $100 unframed. Email me if interested at linda@lwarnerconstantino.com.

I will be keeping at it steadily now that I do not have my MFA work looming over me. I will be going out on site this week so I will be starting back with some landscapes. By the way this melon tasted great!

Following my love of food, on way home from MFA residency, I stopped in Connecticut to visit some relatives who took me to the Yale Sustainable Food Project inspired in part by Alice Waters. It is a great concept being put into practice. If you love organic and fresh fruits and vegetables, this site is worth visiting.

Linda,
I've been checking in at your blog from time to time. Your stuff is really terrific. Great textures and compositions. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Cooper. I think i have become hopelessly addicted to this painting process. I can usually only paint once a week during the school year but it keeps me in touch with myself. Now that I have finished my degree, I hope to paint more often.

In his first book plein air painter Kevin MacPherson talks about doing 100 little paintings(though I think he call them starts) and how this is a great way to achieve improvement in your work.

Thanks for stopping by.
