Small Boats

I painted this about two weeks ago but never got a chance to post it until now. I like it better now that it has "aged" a bit. I love painting boats in the harbor but compositions are always tough, lots to simplify.
I recently painted some larger paintings but I still prefer small ones because you are forced to keep things simple.

Where is the locale? I agree with you about working small; my "wee" paintings are often my favorites.
